A night sky, tied by hand.

The Taara Bandhani Shirt carries small constellations of white across deep black. Each cluster of dots is a knot: a tiny section of cloth pinched, tied tight with thread, and protected from the dye. When the knots are opened, the pattern appears. No print, no shortcut.

Every knot on this shirt was tied by a bandhani artisan, around 25 hours of handwork before the cloth ever met the dye. Because each dot is shaped by hand, no two shirts are exactly alike.

Made in kala cotton, an indigenous, rain-fed cotton native to Kutch, Gujarat. It is grown without irrigation and has a slightly textured, honest hand that softens with every wash.
